How this page fits with TKApps privacy
This page applies to ExtensionBoss. It supplements the shared TKApps privacy policy, which covers TKApps accounts, purchases, licensing, support, website hosting, and shared service providers.
What ExtensionBoss does
ExtensionBoss helps people organize, review, and safely manage Chrome extensions, apps, and themes installed in their browser profile.
Browser information handled
ExtensionBoss uses Chrome's extension-management permission to show installed-item information and perform actions the user requests.
- Installed extension, app, and theme names, versions, icons, permissions, install type, options/settings availability, and enabled state.
- User-requested enable, disable, reload, or uninstall operations.
- Local organization data such as appearance, filters, grouping, favorites, pins, locks, archive state, notes, tags, groups, modes, review preferences, backups, and diagnostics settings.
Local-first storage
The current beta stores ExtensionBoss preferences and organization data locally in Chrome extension storage. It does not transmit the user's installed-extension inventory or organization metadata to TKApps or another server.
What ExtensionBoss does not read
ExtensionBoss does not read browsing history, page contents, personal messages, local files, payment data, or Chrome searches. Full Workspace search history is limited to search terms entered inside ExtensionBoss and can be cleared.
Diagnostics
User-triggered diagnostics are generated locally and shown for review. They are downloaded or shared only if the user chooses to do so.
Accounts and payments
The current beta has no required TKApps account, checkout, remote analytics, advertising SDK, or backend operation for product use. If paid access opens later, account and purchase handling will be disclosed before those features are enabled.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
ExtensionBoss uses information from Chrome APIs only to provide extension management features. It does not sell or transfer user data, use user data for personalized advertising, or use user data to determine creditworthiness or lending eligibility.
TKApps account and licensing data
TKApps may process account identity, purchase records, entitlements, license status, activated-device records stored with privacy-preserving identifiers, billing references from the merchant of record, and support correspondence when those shared services are active. TKApps does not store full payment-card numbers.
Third-party services
TKApps may use service providers for hosting, authentication, transactional email, payment processing, databases, product operations, browser or app store distribution, support resources, and embedded product media. Product-specific integrations such as Asana, Chrome Web Store, Apple App Store, YouTube, or HelpHub apply only when a product uses or links to those services.
Your choices and retention
Users may request access, correction, deletion, or account help where applicable. Some purchase, tax, security, fraud-prevention, and legal records may need to be retained. Product-specific local data can usually be cleared from the product, browser, device, or connected service that stores it.
